Gibraltar Homes Records 30 Home Sales
For First Half of 2011
The first half of 2011 has been a flurry for Florida new home builder Gibraltar Homes as the company recorded 30 homes sales during the first six months. The average home sale price was $ 450,000. Total sales for the first half of the year were $13,500,000.
The total sales represent a 100% increase over the same time last year. The average sales price has increased and total dollar volume has improved. Gibraltar started the year with a 50 homes mark as a sales projection and if this trend continues, the company will surpass projections.
Gibraltar attributes this significant increase in sales volume to an improving real estate market and the public’s recognition that now is the time to buy.
The homes were sold in various communities within Lakewood Ranch, Bougainvillea Place, Legends Bay and buyer owned lots. The homes in the building process include homes in the $200’s to $1.5 million; with home sizes of 1,700 s.f. to 6,000 s.f.
