Home Price Moving Upward
Median cost $5,000 in November than previous month
The median price of existing homes rose for the third month in a row in Manatee County. Many are hopeful that the increasing prices along with the slow but steady drop in inventory of homes are signs that the market is gradually improving. There were 5,282 homes on the market in November, compared to 5,765 in January.

Those putting off purchasing a home because of the hit they would take from property taxes and home insurance may want to get their checkbooks ready. Gibraltar Homes will pay the homeowners dues, property taxes and homeowners insurance for two years if buyers sign a contract before Dec. 31 on one of five move-in ready homes.
